San Diego Masters States Photos

I don't see many posts with shots from races so not sure if that's a no-no, but I'm sure someone will let me know if it is!

These were from about 2 weeks ago. I am trying to learn to shoot better so alternating shooting between races.

It was hot on Saturday, not so bad on Sunday.

Here's some more pictures by Pat Benson, Track Photographer extraordinair. And yes, I can be found in some of these.

That's my 'home track.' Too bad I'm a country away from it.

Sigh

Racer Ex - how did you get the first bars past the commissaires?

Second bars - what is the base bar?

Nice position in both!

It was a pursuit. Aero bars are legal in time trials and pursuits, just not in mass start events.

Thanks, I realise. Just that the Vision Tech bars are not UCI compliant with the 3:1 aspect ratio... Our commissaires had the calipers out at the last State championships on the track!

Actually just checking the photos again, they wouldn't let the custom visor through either.
