he sat right behind us at the last world cup in l.a. during the keirin. his commentary on tactics and gearing were amazing. he could spot guys that were on 1/2" bigger gear inches than the others and spot moves 10 seconds before they happened.

I saw him at that UCI World Cup as well. Heck of a nice guy!

Starting with World's in 2005 and continuing through the next couple of years, that was the most fun I've ever had at track races. I sure hope LA can get another World Cup sometime soon. It's a long trip to Beijing, Sydney, or Manchester.

At World's in 2005 I stayed in the same hotel as most of the athletes. Shared an elevator with Theo Bos, a very nice young man and one hell of a sprinter!
