Dolan price drop

Does somebody know why the prices of Dolan track bikes have drop? For example the new price for DF3 is only 999 (former price 1500).

Is there something new coming or is this only a somekind of season sale?

I would like to know too. I was about to buy a 2009 for $1450 from a guy in the next week or two. I should either get this one new or try to talk my seller down!
