thanks

This should answer how wheels fall into the scale of what one should purchase first with a few tips also.

In anycase I do race at Kissena and T-town is a really nice track.
I will not give advise on the wheels except to say search the board for the topic on "wheels for a new racer" and my guess is that it will match the thread I posted here.

FYI, The guys who do the clinic are really a nice bunch of guys and I am sure they will concur.

This gives you some real world reviews on various wheels including the HED3 and some spoked options

I have a set of what I would consider training wheels, H+ with sealed high flange hub.

H+ makes about 6 different rims and sealed bearing hubs range from Quando all the way up to Dura-Ace.

You're just getting started, and you're learning. and Kissena is a track that you gotta learn. it's okay to race on training wheels for a while.
