Great deal! I may pick some up as well, just because. :)

For those of us fortunate enough to have won a US National Championship:

These soccer socks exist:

I'm not gonna link to the site where I found the image because I'm not sure if it's a reputable ecommerce site.

But, if I'd ever won a US jersey, I'd rock these :D

Those would be too long for a UCI regulated event. The sock can't go higher than the middle point between the ankle and the knee (around the middle of your calf)

I make my own carbon shoes for this reason...you can do what you want to them spec wise... accommodates my foot shape issues and/or leg length discrepancy internally rather than building up the cleat mount

 Those are indeed lovely! Massive Kudos.
Any photos from the construction process?

taras0000 01-18-17 09:46 PM

Yes please on the the photos. I'm basically looking to do the same thing this summer. I've got the ability and time, and nothing on the market tickles my fancy at all.

Dalai 01-19-17 05:14 AM

Thanks for the photos daveoo88. Impressive!

See below.... i have few resources that i can use which is nice
Picture 1- insole and allowance for cleat mounts
2- Lay up of carbon
3- decoration carbon weave with a bag over ready for lamination
4- suction lamination

its a totally different process to that of your simmons/hanseeno shoes but the results are still fine for me

queerpunk 01-19-17 07:43 AM

holy moly. those look gorgeous and incredibly refined.

tobukog 01-19-17 08:13 AM

Amazing!

carleton 01-19-17 12:48 PM

Wow. What a nice hobby/skillset.

Flatballer 01-19-17 12:51 PM

Those are gorgeous. That's a cool skill. Is that your day job, making carbon fiber stuff? That doesn't look like a garage setup to me.

daveoo88 01-19-17 02:48 PM

Thanks the decorative carbon ones are nice but I prefer the stealth look lol. Nah I'm an Orthotist/prosthetist so I know how to work with carbon, measure and manufacture shoes, insoles etc....not a bad skill set to have when you have terrible feet...I'm thinking about maybe offering it to the public it would be nice to get feedback from other people on how they feel/perform
