Warmup Jumping rope...
Would Jumping rope be a good warmup for a long ride? I know it can be a good workout almost by itself. Boxers do it to build up their legs.
I'd say about 10 mins as a warm up should do it. What do you think?

10 minutes jumping rope would get you warmed up allright..
I think 5minutes would def suffice..
Focus on the future
Jumping rope is a good plyometric exercise. But I'm not sure it'd be any better for warm up than spending those 10 minutes pedaling.
how about using the first 10 minutes of your ride as a warmup??

10 minutes of jumping jacks would be just as effective.. both are high impact.. and really give you nothing specific towards cycling..
