Severe Stomach Pains

Well, I don't know what to do. For the past couple days now every time I get home from a moderate ride (around 9-11 miles for 45 minutes to an hour) and I have severe cramps in my lower "gut". It's not my stomach, too low for that. It seems like it's my intestines. Anyone have similar problems and if so what did you do to alleviate the pains? And, if anyone knows, what causes this? Thanks guys.

Don't know if this is the answer to your question, but sometimes if the area "down there" isn't seated properly sometimes a low-level ache will creep into my lower gut as you describe. I just have to get off the saddle and readjust my bibs or whatever to feel fine once again.

Make sure you aren't dehydrating yourself. If this continues, it's time to speak with your doctor.

The thing is, it goes away when I eat something. This makes no sense to me at all. I thought, if I'm blocked up then more food would make it hurt more. WTF is going with me. I'm such a mess

Ive been having a similar problem during/after my daily run for the past month or so, its not like a side ache, and it feels exactly like you said, almost like its my intestines. Do you get "burpy" while you have these cramps? I get realllllly burpy and the cramps dont stop for maybe 25minutes after I run, im thinking it might be doctor time.

got back from the doctor today. He thinks it may be an ulcer caused by h. pylori. I'm only 19, I'm too young for ulcers! Doesn't my body know that?
