hi, i'm real busy, but signed up to ride 60mi for a fundraiser in 2 weeks. i haven't been riding much lately, and i don't have a roadbike. it's an old c'dale MTB that i just put slick tires on. the last time i rode, with the knobby tires, i was taking my time and went about 12 miles in an hour. that was it. i'd say i'm in moderate shape. is trying to go 60 miles in 2 weeks totally insane, or do you have any suggestions on how i can get ready for this? i have time to ride 3x/wk max! i don't wanna back out...
