new to spinning

I just started a class this morning, got up at 5:30 quite a feet for a college student. Needless to say i loved it, but during and after the class i had some sort of acidy gassy feeling in my stomach. The night before i had two beers and some veggie chilli before i went to bed, and in the morning all i did was brush my teeth before heading out. Any idea what might cause this? Any help would be great because i would really like to keep doing it without the sick feeling. Thanks

You might try having a little something in your stomach... a banana or some toast.

I know my stomach can be a little acid in the morning until I eat breakfast.

Drink a water bottle before the spin class and drink one during the class.

Good nutrition is a MUST if you plan to do exercise in the morning. And don't fall for that "well, I'm burning fat because I've depleted my carbs overnight" crap- you need quality carbs in your system in order to produce the energy necessary to work your muscles, and if you don't get it, you bonk and your body shuts down. You can't force fat metabolism. Fat metabolism comes from exercising aerobically. So make sure you get some kind of carbs in your stomach. A banana... half a bagal... a few tablespoons of some cereal with a little bit of skim milk.. an apple... something.
