Spinning Bike: Need advice on selecting 1 of these
I am new to this and trying to get myself in shape. I tried out spinning and fell in love with it. I am trying to have one for my home gym. I am very confused on which one to pick. I figured experts here can guide me.
1. LeMond RevMaster
2. SPINNERŪ ELITE or SPINNERŪ PRO (Not sure why the difference is)
3.Trixter X-Bike 600 or X-Bike 1000 (Again I am not sure what the diff is)
Please advice. They all appear good. I prefer something that gives me about 400-500 cal burn every day. I am quite dedicated and would like to get started.
13 Cannondale EVO Red, 2005 Cannondale Six13, Dave Scott Ironman, 2008 Cannondale T800
Go with The Spinner Pro
The difference between it and the eite is the safety clutch mechanism that allows you to stop your legs and the wheel will give to a stop. The pro is a total fix gear I use both but own the pro after teachoing in the industry for 6 years its been a hell of a bike. Parts are readily available and the feel is just awesome-no more worn out tires on your mag
My local gym has a set of spinner pros and as velocity said, they are a rock solid spinning bike. I can't imagine the amount of sweat and pain those bikes have put me through, but any strong day of cycling in the summer I have, I owe to a winter of interval traning on them. Good luck and enjoy it!
Fuji SL1, GT Team Carbon, Mrazek BOH FX Mountain bike and Giant TCR1
Just got my Spinner Pro 2 weeks ago and it's very solid. I went with the Spinner bike instead of a trainer just to save wear and tear on my road bike. The only thing I wish it came with was a cadence computer to use with the Spinerval DVD's.
CycleOps man. It has integral power meter so you can measure your progress more accurately. The flywheel is in the back of the frame reducing the bearing damage caused fm sweat.
