Has anyone heard of determining vo2 by a simple test of resting h/r then a really easy paced 3 min stair step exrecise and take h/r then. At that point I dont know what else the trainer did but he gave me a figure of 65 for my vo2. This guy is a very reputalbe trainer with years of experince but I doubt this method severly. I know it could be like the 220 minus your age deal which I know does't work in m,y case either. My numbers are skewd on that test by better than 20 bpm
