So when I go to school I take my Nalgene along with me and today was no exception. I downed 2 at school which is around 2 L. Now using my elementary knowledge of Physics and conversions 1mL of Water=1 g hence 1 L of Water = 1 Kg and hence each Nalgene is roughly 2.2 lbs. of Water. I got to thinking this after I weighed myself on the school scale and saw that I weighed 3.5 pounds more than I did at home. So is it really possible that I took in 4.4 lbs of water from drinking water? Seems kind of high...
Thanks a Bundle,

Why are you drinking so much water? Are you feeling thirsty? You really don't want to be taking in any more water than you're sweating away when working out. If you're not sweating away water, don't drink more than you need... +4.4 lbs of water is not an excessive amount, but a bit on the high side and should be matched to your exercise level. Google "hyponatremia" or look it up here...

Water in minus water into toilet both #1&2, minus water sweated out (500-1000ml/day at rest in a comfortable environment), minus respiratory loss, about the same as sweat or a bit less. You can add it up.
