I just Inherited a Power Tap complete with software and interface link. Just wondering what anyone's experiences have been while training with it?

Well, if you don't like it, I'd be happy to inherit it from you.

the price has dropped down to US$699 for the hub and the Link download software as opposed to US$770 plus US$200 for the Link kit as previously listed. There will also be a pro model released early in the new year.
This from cyclingnews Sunday.

Cheers...Gary

I had a Powertap but it was one of the early grey ones & it did not last long in Belgium. The software is not very good so I used SRM software with it (wrote a little excel macro to convert the files).I now own a polar Power meter & thats fallen to bits & let water into the electrics also but at least this time I could fix it myself.

There is some things related to training with Power on my site here.

Not really, The complete Power Tap system I received was free! (That is the 'actual' Power Tap unit I have that you see pictured in the link above in a previous post, along with the 'actual' Lemond bike I have listed for sale in the buy-sell-trade forum).
