Ut oh, Knee popping and pain! I must have Mashed to Hard! ACK!
Yesterday, I was at the local community college coming down a flight of stairs and my right knee started popping wach time I bent it to hit the next stair. After that, each bend hurt like crazy. I could still walk and focus on my route through the halls but dam it hurt.
After a few minutes, it went away. Still, it pops when I go down stairs.
Ive only ridden 168 miles in July. Mostly trying to find a job. Ive been off the bike for about 5 days so I know it hasnt happened lately. Any ideas?
Thanks !

rest immediately, avoid weight bearing and ice it to ease the pain and see a doc.
I am a veteran of a good few knee operations, was an avid soccer player.
I have been fine for the last few years but a month ago I was tempted to do some light weight squats in the gym even though my doc banned me from that and I reinjured my knee also. I have now given up soccer and trying to take it easy and hoping I don't have to get yet another arthroscopy. DO NOT DO any kind of squats or motion which is similar to squats, squats can damage you knee instantly.
