how long to wait after being sick?
I'm just getting over an upper respiratory infection that had me pretty sick. I feel like it peaked yesterday and I'm finally starting to get a little better. I have a bad problem of pushing things before I'm all better and tend to get too hot and relapse (almost always). How long do you wait after being sick to get back out and ride again?

until I feel like it really. I don't want to get too scientific on you
This time of year, I will wait a few more days before I go outside to ride though. I will usually hit the trainer for a few days, see how I feel and the hit the outdoors.

I find I heal quicker the sooner i get back at it. I just take it slower and not hammer hard. But that's me. FWIW: I had a cold/fever last Friday. Stayed home from work(I never miss for sickness), Saturday was beautiful so I went out for a 5 mile slow hike w/ the dog. Did it again Sunday and was back on the bike Monday still going slow, hocking snot rockets, getting better. I wasn't up to to full speed until yesterday(Thursday). Still blowing a few rockets tho'
