Proper Names for HRM features

Hi all:

Well, I finally "killed" my cheapy HRM. (At least it's giving out totally non-sensical numbers...I know I can't be running a HR of 230 once sec and 0 the next.)

I am looking for a replacement, and I have a little problem...I can't remember to look at the HRM while actually working...

I haven't had much luck decoding the things I want the HRM to do into the name of features that they print on the HRM ads, so what features should I look for to get an HRM that will:

*Record AVG and Max HR.

* Nag you into staying above a <user input > HR for a <user specified > time.

*Put you through intervals with a user input target HR and time for the work period, and user input time for the recovery.

*Put you through intervals with a user input target HR and time for the work period, with recovery to a user input HR.

(By put you though intervals I mean signal start of work, start of recovery, for user input # of reps.)

Thanks,

Crosstraining..
