That's the Coach program in my new heart rate monitor (HRM).
My last trainer workout was 25 minutes at level 2.5. Today it
suggested 26 minutes at 2.8.
I did 26 minutes at 2.6
For the last 5 years I have been making mostly glacial progress. As long
as I am getting better, the rate at which it is happening doesn't matter.
Before it was hit or miss; one winter I just worked up a sweat using the trainer at a steady pace, and just about died on the first hill I went up.
This year I got that thing telling me exactly how I'm doing. I have used several training programs; this is easily the best.
I know a few of you want to crank it up a notch. You could do worse.
