Nutrition and Training Knowledge - who knows what?

Hi boys and girls,

Which group is more knowledgeable about nutrition and training?

Today's meaningless Internet Poll is about adult endurance athletes. Please understand this poll is trying to determine what you think about groups of athletes and their respective knowledge of applied nutrition and exercise physiology as well as beneficial training practices.

There are no right or wrong answers, this poll requests your opinion, based on your sports experience and your familiarity with other runners, cyclists and tri-athletes. Just "guess" about your answer if you wish.

If you prefer, you may cite reasons and evidence supporting your selections by adding your thoughtful reply.

This is asinine. It depends on the individual, not their activity of choice.

Ok, so what's your selection?

I'm going to go with the "ironmen" guys because, they've had to endure and complete a "huge" training volume to finish a full Ironman course.

Oprah ran a 4:29 marathon and I wouldn't listen to her for nutrition or training advice.

Since it's meaningless anyway: I don't know any marathoners or Iron Men/Women, so the only right answer "based on my sports experience" is sub 5-hour century riders. They know everything (and, enigmatically, nothing, at the same time).

Thanks for occupying 45 seconds of my time today, which would have otherwise been spent working!

She also looks younger and way more attractive than she did 20 years ago. I figure by the time she is 70 she should look like an infant. I want whatever water she is drinking.
