Insatiable Hunger
Hey guys -
I wanted to get your thoughts on something. While its natural for your body to crave nutrients during and after a long ride, it seems that now after commuting for 6 months (5 miles each day and then weekends the rides go for 30-40+) i cant stop eating! I am not a total health freak but i def. eat better than i ever have in my life (credit in large part due to the health conscious girlfriend).
Usually in any given month i might have like a day or so where my body is like EAT EAT EAT. but lately its been like i cant stop eating for a week + and i am not gorging myself but its just raising a flag since i havent experienced this in my 6 months of riding.
Your thoughts are welcome! Thanks guys.

Why is it this topic seems to come up twice a week now? I think the thread entitled "Ravaging Hunger" is even still on the first page.
If you're hungry, eat. If you're not gaining weight, then what's to worry about. In part, carbs won't do as much to put your hunger to rest. As others have said, fiber and fat is what will tell your body that it is full.

Thanks everyone!
I will most certainly start to eat more fiber and protein in natural sources ..... (check on the fresh fruit and lean meats!)
