    Clif Drink...too sticky

I used the directions for 20oz and it was pretty nasty and sticky if dripped on my hands and left my mouth cottony dry. So, I diluted it last night and while less sticky, my mouth was still too dry and I could barely spit if needed.

I've used Accelerade and liked it, but decided to try someting new this year. Mistake. Will probably go back to Accelerade.

What drink mix out there retains a more watery feel (both in my mouth and if I spill), but still has the electrolytes I need?

You might try some NUUN. It's just electrolytes with some flavoring.

yes...I don't like it. Taste isn't bad, but man it is like syrup in my mouth even 50% diluted. I can't imagine it on a hot day.

    cliff is fine by me...

I've been using the Cliff electrolyte and recovery drinks for the last year and like the taste quite a bit. Accelerade is another story...

Bottom line is that I recommend Cliff stuff...
