Headache?
Hey guys,
Anyone here gets headaches after exercising? I don't get them immediately after my rides, but it usually kicks in like in a half hour or so after I get back.

Dehydration can cause headaches, as well as sun exposure issues like sunstroke.
Try weighing yourself before and after a ride. The difference, if any, will be mostly the water you've lost. If you have significant weight loss, you are not hydrating enough.

Hi,
point where it hurts. If you are pointing at your forehead, all the crap in the air is irritating your sinuses.
Try Tavist.
Try having something after a ride. I like a fruit shake. Basically you want water, come calories and some electrolytes if it's hot. You can buy a recovery drink mix like Endurox as well. Even OJ with a couple grains of low sodium salt would be worth trying.
Are there any other symptoms that go along with the headache?

Its usually just a splitting headache that comes about after resting for about a half hour to 45 minutes. There's no problem immediately after exercise though.
The intensity of the headache is almost proportionate to the exertion. Initially I thought it was dehydration, so I made an effort to drink up. But this doesn't seem to help. But then again, I may not be hydrating myself enough, so maybe it might be dehydration although I doubt it.
Although I've had issues with sinusitis in the past, I had this problem even when my regular workouts were limited to just the gym.
I was reading some of these healthwebsites and they mentioned something about exercise induced headaches. They don't really pinpoint a particular causing factor, but i'm thinking maybe it might be due to my fitness level or something?
