Program change - hill repeats or not?

Here has been my typical schedule the last few months:
Mon - rest day off bike
    Tues - hill repeats
Wed - 2 hour recovery (55% LT) spin
Thurs - intervals (2x20 at LT)
Friday - easy spin or rest
    sat - 2-3 hour LSD
Sun - hard group ride with tons o' hills (5 hours)

I've been training for long hill climb rides in May/June/July (first one is next Sat - 112 miles with 6,500feet elevation).

now I've hooked up with a fast group for Tuesday and Thursday mornings - it is in range of 2-3 hours typical hammerfest with sprints, hills, and long intervals. I want to keep doing this. so how do I squeeze in the hill repeats - or do I? if so - when? Do I do a double on Tuesdays? or do it on Saturday? I've built a good base - but at 50yo the rest/easy days have helped. Thoughts?

I set goals for LT and over LT time each week. After the weekend's rides, I have a look at the Polar software's time-in-zone and decide how much more of that kind of thing I need and schedule accordingly. I limit myself to 1 to 1.5 hrs./wk. in the LT zone, and about 20' over LT. YMMV. Usually after a Sunday ride I can't do anything that requires an LT or LT+ HR until Thursday, so I do easier stuff on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Again, YMMV, kid.

My crazy French friend Jean-Philippe says more like 7600' for that Torture Century. Enjoy!
We'll be doing our first pass ride on Memorial Day weekend - probably Sunday. Let me know if you're interested.

that's the one on the daily ride for cascade/ride4reason.org for Sat the 26th out of Cle Elum? I was thinking about doing that - barring Memorial Day family plans I think I can swing that. Does Jean Philippe go by "Johnny"? I think he was on the Hills of West Coast ride last Sun with Tom Meloy who is doing Pyrennes.

My ride leader usually prefers to run everything himself, so we'll probably ride on the 27th instead. Less traffic that day. Haven't heard anyone say Johnny. But Jean Philippe is leading the PoP, for which he's desperately trying to get in shape. He's an athlete, though.
