Muscles worked out?
This may seem like a very vague question and probably discussed before, but in general what muscles are worked out when biking? I know its not a total body work out, and focuses mainly on legs but is there any upper body workout when riding?

Main muscles I guess would be quads, glutes, hamstrings, plus the calves are going to get a little work.
As far as upper body... Your hands and arms a little bit, abs/back to stabilize your trunk. If you ride drops, your neck will probably get the most work in your upper body!
Yeah, mostly lower body workout.

If you are riding a single speed MTB, your biceps, forearms, lats also get a good workout assuming you are doing some low cadence climbing
