I have recently (March 29, 2007) had surgery for colorectal cancer and am back on the road (May 9) training for touring. Over the last 12 days I have gone from 25 km to 50 km in 5 km increments every other day. As I continue to increase my rides, I plan to start doing 1/2 distance spin days on the off days between my long rides.
I have cadence readout and an HRM as training tools. I am not a racer yet (too young @ 47) Any advice?
