Fitness Losses?

so, i've been off my bike pretty much for 6wks now due to bursitis in my knee. i did have a period of riding during that time, but that's been about 2.5wks ago. since then, no riding except what was prescribed by the PT (30min 3-5x/wk). prior to my injury i was able to ride and keep up on group rides that were in the 17-19mph range with no significant problems.

i'm prolly gonna go get a cortisone shot in the next week or so (as i don't see this getting significantly better in 2 more weeks) and then start back with some easy rides, working myself back up to pre-injury condition...my question is this...what percentage of aerobic fitness & muscular strength does one lose during a time period such as what i've had? in general, how long does it take to get back to "normal"?
