i've been riding on my trainer quite frequently and i'm having trouble with the tubes popping while i'm riding. i've been through 3 tubes in a little over a month. i'm sorta stumped on what's causing this and was hoping somebody could lend me some insight if they've had a similar problem. would this be a problem with pressure (i doubt it) or could it be that the trainer is too close to the tire when riding?
+1 on rim tape. Also, next time you have the tire off, carefully run your finger along the inside of the tire and feel for something sharp stuck in the tire. If the tire has ever seen the road, maybe you picked up a piece of debris.

The short radius of the rollers on most trainers causes more stress on the tires then riding on a flat road. Rollers are the only time I've seen people make a good case for solid tires. Do you have an old rim you could set up with a solid tire?
