Gynecomastia/Puffy Nipples

Does any one else have this problem, had it and it went away, or have any medical advice on how to treat it (i don't have time to go to the doctor for something like this). Reason im asking is that its killing my physique and as hard as im working it doesn't go away so im looking for some treatment options besides surgery. (estrogen blockers or topical treatments maybe?)

Why do you have it, first of all? If you're using, and weren't taking arimidex or something to block the sides, then you're an idiot and deserved it.

no no no...im not taking any gear lol...im not sure why i have it to tell you the truth *paging Dr.Pete*

If you’re not using gear then go to a doctor and have him run hormonal levels on you including testosterone (Free, weakly bound and total) and run an estrogen level and SHBG.

My guess is you have high estrogen. Why is the question.

im not sure...i wonder if lifting a lot has up my testosterone and in turn bumped my estrogen up to compensate, but then i again i slept through most of endocrinology in my bio class so i could just be talkin out my ass :)

Wait, yer growin' man-boobs and don't have "time" to go to the doctor? Uh... bad call, dude.

It happens to something like 70 percent of men during puberty and generally goes away. For some cases it stays and they need surgery. Other cases it is simply one body type that stores fat in the pecs in addition to the gut. Supposedly this is a healthier body type to have.
One rumor is that smoking large amounts of weed can cause it to worsen. Rumor would be the key word there.

Go visit your doctor.

Ive had them all my life but Ive never followed it up with a Doc because mine are Muscular looking. Most pure Gyne cases that are 100% gyne, the men have soft, bouncy women looking breasts. Mine are not.

I guess, if you could imagine, I look like a power lifter that hasnt lifted anything in years. Im just gonna roll with it. I think I look good nekked so screw it.

On a doc note. You can go to the Urologist and he can do a hormone check by your urine. So you dont have go through blood tests and stuff. I didnt know that but my Doc said it could be done. Then, again, Im stupid.

Good Luck

Classic medical mystery story. An older man grew a breast on one side. No hormonal problems. Had it removed. Then ditto for the other side. Way later the Doc was chatting with the wife. To make conversation he asked what meds she was taking. Learned her Gynecologist had prescribed a skin cream with conjugated hormones in it. She started using it as a "lubricant" . . . Bingo! Levels too low to show up on the tests but high enough to trigger hubbys' propblem. If you are freaked out by the problem for Meryx sake see an endrocrinologist. Or check your partners medical cabinet.
