Drinking the leftovers

How important is it to consume the undissolved gloppy remains when you mix up Endurox4, Cyto or other carbo recovery drinks? I figure it can't hurt to spoon up the stuff as it means getting the full portion, it's just weird in consistancy and in favor.

you shouldn't be getting any gloopy remnants at the bottom of your energy drink. try shaking it up properly. half fill your bottle with water, put in the required amount of powder and shake it vigorously for a couple of mins. then top up your bottle with water to the top, give it another shake. that should do it properly. and always wash your bottles properly after use, to prevent any build up of mould which will give you peruvian mudslide/delhi belly/bad guts etc, etc.

Thanks for your graphic reply, lol! I mix the stuff according to the directions (even adding extra water in hopes of diluting the remains) but always end up with some extra undissolved at the bottom. I am talking about carbo loading/high carb recovery drinks, not electrolyte replacements like Gatorade, which always dissolve completely. I was wondering if I was missing some extra fueling by not slurping the undissolved stuff.

so you liked my graphic reply then!? well i was talking about carbo drinks too, as opposed to electrolyte. well as for losing out on energy from the amount you lose at the bottom of the bottle, all i can suggest is put the extra amount in that you're losing from the bottom of your bottle? if it really matters that much? must be some dodgy american stuff you use that doesn't dissolve properly!?

*cabledonut slurps from his well dissolved energy drink........ahhh!
