trainer question
carbon frame in my trainer. i have been loosening the clamp when not using it but is it necessary? will leaving the bike clamped into the trainer cause any damage to the frame?

I leave mine clamped in when I'm not riding it outside. It's a good place to keep it, and makes it easy to just hop on for a quick 45min spin when the mood strikes and it's pitch black and raining outside. I do loosen the roller from the rear tire so it doesn't leave a mark. I also swap the rear wheel for one with a crappy old tire I don't mind burning up on the trainer, as opposed to the much nicer GP4000S on the Ksyrium ES I switch to for outdoor use.
