Anything wrong with eating those quaker oatmeal packets by themselves
I was going to school one day and forgot to pack the plate and spoon with me. So my break came and I was hungry....I opened the packet up and just ingested it raw. Is this bad? Tasted OK. I actually have been eating them like this without adding water and heating. for a few days now.

I've done it. I prefer to eat those things with only the smallest amount of water- just so it sticks together.
Eating dry isn't too far away from that.

If it makes you feel better, raw oatmeal is actually a staple in bodybuilding diets. When I'm bulking, I throw in 1/2 cup of raw oatmeal in a blender along with 1 cup of water, 2 scoops of whey/casein protein, and 1 tbsp of peanut butter....3 times per day.

It depends on the protein you put in. Some (Isopure, Optimum Whey, GH Pro) taste mediocre despite those protein blends tasting good by themselves. For this concoction, my favorite is Cytosport Evopro casein....it's rich and chocolatey which is key. With the peanut butter, it is easily my favorite "meal" of the day. No joke! Also, casein is a slower digesting protein so when combined with oatmeal, it's a good form of sustained release energy.
