Loss of appetite?

I went for a long ride yesterday. (54 miles) I drank plenty of liquids (water & gatorade) and had some trail mix during the ride. I noticed that my stomach didn't feel quite right afterward. Not exactly naseous, though. I didn't feel hungry that night. I had some soup because I thought I needed to get something in my stomach, but I could have easily have skipped that.

Is this normal? Is this something I will have to get used to as I make longer rides?

Plently of fluids could mean too much fluid. Probably your body is too filled with water that it doesn't feel hungry. Gatorade might not be solid food, but it does fine to make you feel less hungry. It's either that you already had plently much enough. If it is like water moving around in your stomach, that's probably too much fluid and it will feel uncomfortable.

The other reason could be that you are overtraining. One symptom of overtraining is loss of appetite and it is usually a very serious stage of overtraining if you are lossing appetite.

I felt muck better the next day. My appetite returned. My guess it was too much fluid.

"Is this normal?"

Well, what preservatives or color additives did the trail mix contain?

Sulfur dioxide is one found in dry fruits that I don't like.

Bon apetit.
