Buying a Trainer/Rollers

I have no experience with trainers, but winter is upon us. I'm looking for a trainer mainly to build a base, but it would also be nice to have something to warm up with before races. I'm looking to spend less then $200.

I've been on rollers before and they're fun, but can you actually get a decent work out from them?

On the trainers front all that I've seen that I can afford are wind trainers and the Nashbar branded Mag and fluid trainers. I'm not how the quality is on those and the reviews are inconclusive.

If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations about buying a trainer it'd be great. Cheers.

i can thoroughly recommend the CycleOps Fluid 2 trainer. It's a bit over your budget but well worth the money in my opinion.

Here is a full review of it:

There is a Kurt Kinetic Rock and roll for 300!!!! That is insane! There are also a couple rollers.

I don't know poop about rollers but if you want a good trainer save the money and get a Kurt Kinetic.
