Side Ache of Doom
I have been riding more and more this summer, I'm getting quite fast (average above 20mph) for long distances, last night I did a 20 mile ride and on the way back home I had the worst side ache. It felt like a knife was stuck in my lower right rib. It was worse the normal but I get them often, flat rides usually are not to bad but anything with hills is trouble. Seems to be the worst whenever I move out of the saddle climbing or sprinting. They seem to start after about 30-40 minutes in the saddle or when I do a large hill, there seems to be some rough correlation with drinking water but not sure. Any ideas? I can't really find a pattern, they seem to happen no matter what I do.
