Suggestions on how to stop this pain behind my knee?
Well, since I started cycling about six months ago, I've had a strange pain. It is usually somewhere between the left side of my calf and behind my knee (left leg exclusively).
I've tried moving my cleats back.
I've tried moving my seat forward.
I've tried lowering my seat.
The pain is still there.
I ride a 56cm Cannondale CAAD9-6 with SPD pedals and specialized shoes.
Stem is all the way down, but not flipped.
5'10 and ~148 pounds.
Please, any help would be great. Any more info needed, just ask.

I had a similar problem that actually hurt more off the bike than while riding it. The worst was going down steps. Sounds like you've tried the proper adjustments so...go get checked by your doctor. When I did he diagnosed it as an IT band problem. The IT band runs from the hip down the side of the leg to mid calf. I did some physical therapy for a while and then stopped to do the stretching on my own. Get a foam roller and try it. It hurts like heck for a while but soon becomes very soothing. I kept riding throughout the therapy and even did BRAG (Bike Ride Across Georgia) a few weeks after seeing my doctor. Good luck.

Stretches and the roller. Try ibuprofen but just until it goes away. Stretching works for me - after every ride.

If you can swing it, get a pro bike fit.
Have someone measure the length of each leg and tell us what you got.
