New Hammer products?

I've been throughly enjoy the Hammer line of products, so far I'm die-hard with Recoverite, Heed, Hammer-Gel, and Endurolytes. I'm in the processing of trying Perpetum instead of eating solid food on long rides.

I was curious are there any other products from them you guys can't live without? I'm extremely skeptical about their supplements.

why?

i have never used there supplements. so far i have had great success with HEED, the Gels, and Recoverite. i plan to implement their Premium Insurance Caps into my diet the start of next year when i starting training for the 09 Ride the Rockies. reason being i found myself wearing down physically this past summer during peak training/mileage.

later.

I don't know, it's not really their supplements it's just the way they preach about it, they're stuff is so expensive I'm just wondering how much better it is. Then again today I took Hammer's advice and only had a bit of gel before my ride instead of breakfast and felt MUCH better.

I do LOTS of reading on topics like this, from a lot of different sources. Generally speaking, I agree w/ Hammer's philosophy - they basically follow what's been shown to work.

But.

They do price it high. If you de-construct their ingredients and spend a little time shopping, you can find essentially the same stuff for less.

I am not too keen about supplements and things of that nature. One Hammer product that I tried is Endurolytes, and it works very well for me in eliminating leg cramps.

Regards,
