training ride soundtrack
Just to preface, this is probably going to sound like a stupid question. But, it isn't my first and won't be my last, so here we go.
I'm going to be getting an indoor trainer next week because I leave for work right around sunrise and don't get home until right around sunset. Obviously when riding outside there is plenty to keep me interested and focused on the ride, but I think music will help me to stay focused inside.
Could someone suggest how a 1-2 hour training ride soundtrack would look? Any genre or artist suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you want to listen to some really bad music over and over and get a great workout Carmichael Training Systems has some audio workouts. Most run 1hr with different intervals. I have been taking their model and adding my own music with playlists via iTunes. I do what chris does and record short reminder between tracks that tell me "1 min fast pedal go!" or "5 min zone 1". I find that it helps me stayed structured on the trainer instead of just spinning for an hour.

i download documentaries and movies and watch them when i get on the trainer. i put my laptop on a box in front of my bike when i ride so i don't have to crank my head up to watch. it's actually quite comfortable.
i haven't been on my bike for about two months now due to school + work, and i haven't had the time to get on the trainer (i've lost my biker strength, now). got on the trainer this evening and finished watching a documentary. workout only lasted 30 min, but i was engrossed in the documentary! didn't feel like 30 min.
