Carb-Protein-Fat ratio for cycling/general endurance...

What carb-protein-fat ratio does your diet consist of? I am re-evaluating my diet and looking for input. Currently I eat high carb-low fat (about 65-25-10) anyone have any thoughts?

I gave up tracking it several years ago. I now just eat quality whole foods, with lots of vegetables. The ratio doesn't really tell you anything about the quality of your diet. Eat lots of vegetables, organic if possible, and quality meats and fishes (grass fed and wild-caught) and it is a lot more enjoyable than calculating ratios and you get all your body needs. You do need fat in your diet and there is nothing wrong with the fat you get from olives and fish, etc., but most importantly I think health is so much better when enjoying quality food without trying to calculate its composition.

I track what I eat for an obnoxious health issue I am attempting to resolve. However, I do not focus on ratios. At one time I did focus quite a bit on lowering the fat content. After reading a few articles I decided to increase the good fat content of my diet and I believe that is helping me. It seems my protein consumption has dropped a bit and I will need to fix that shortly.
Today is 60-10-30.

It's more about the kinds of things that you eat than the specific ratio. Quality food, not too much processed food, enough fruit and vegetables.

I am shooting for 55-30-15. I am two weeks into a concerted effort. I haven't been able to do better than 47-22-31. Today, though has been much better, so far.

Good fats vs. Bad fats.
An avocado has loads of fat but IMO one of the best foods you can eat in moderation.
Dark13 and the other comments had it right - It's about good wholesome foods. The less processed the better.

Mine is 60/20/20 today. Seems this is where I'm at most days. It used to be closer to 70/10/20, but I've been trying to increase my protein intake lately (and succeeding, apparently).

Honestly, I don't pay a whole lot of attention to this ratio. I look at it at the end of the day to make sure it's not horribly astray, but I don't try to eat to please it.

Like many have said before, it seems that not overeating and eating the right foods is much more important.

60/20/20 in the summer when I ride lots. In the winter my ****** has gained 15 pounds, I go 30/40/30 and ride indoors and it does pretty good at melting some fat.
