polar F6 problems... reads 0 intermittently

Hi

Last night at the gym noticed my polar F6 was loosing signal periodically and saying my HR was 0 then with in 5-10 seconds it would pick up again.

I couldn't find this being a know issue via Google

and I've only had it for a year with limited used until January

when I bought it I was told the the battery's last for a long time one guy was on the same battery for the last 3 years and an avid runner

any suggestions?

Did you check your owner's manual or the Polar website?

I'll loose signal occasionally and tighten my strap up. Might be a good sign of loosing a few pounds!

Wet the contact points on the strap before putting it on. Helps to pick up the heart rate better.
