Fitness Decline
I have taken two weeks off due to personal reasons. I just got on the bike
today and feel like garbage. Did I lose that much fitness with a 2 week lay off?
I was riding 6 days a week.

it depends on your age, the younger the fastest recovery, i´m 50 years old and i still racing on the expert c category on MTB down here in Mexico, right now i consider that i´m in a good level i restart a program with my old trainer two months ago, if i got of the bike for two weeks probably i will need at list two week also or maybe more to be in the same level, obviously because of my age.

You lose aerobic fitness more quickly than muscular fitness, but it comes back faster too. Give it a week or two and you'll be back where you were.
