So I've been using hammer gel. What time, how long before a start working out, should I take the hammer gel. My team mate said 15 minutes before a race/work out. I took it 30 minutes before a 1600m race with a small hand full of trail mix and vomited at the end. Did i take the gel to soon or was it the trail mix that did me in?
Does any one have information on any other Hammer Nutrition products?
I take mine 15 mins before a race and every 30-40 mins after that...1 serving at a time
never had an issue with throwing up from it

Did the trail mix have sugar (m&m's)?
hammer products don't mix well with sweets.
15 minutes is fine. Just one serving, right? If you take too much at once, it'll make you sick.

And like the directions say, drink plenty of water with it.
follow Hammer's instructions for all their products. they put a lot of time and effort into their stuff and dont give instructions for nothing. later.
