I bought a Garmin Forerunner 50 HRM and would like to know of anyone's experience with Garmin's online or offline (program downloaded to one's PC) data /training recording programs. Pros or cons of one versus the other.
Additionally an opinion on wearing it as a watch or mounting it on the bars for ease of use when riding.
I have the garmin 305 and use both programs. The offline kicks off as soon as I plug in my garmin. I use the online one so I can post my rides on my facebook page. I like both programs. They give me plenty of data. Probably too much.

It's donation ware so you try it, and if it's worth it to you, you pay what you feel it's worth. There are many plug-ins to tailor it to what you need. The training load plug-in give a WKO+ type of training analysis.
