    Master clense

i just want to say, anybody looking to get healthy, and clean out their body should really check it out. My dad turned me onto it a few years ago and ive been doing it regularly i think its a great way to clean out your body. it has a kinda wierd list of ingredients but it really is good.

    water-
    lemon juice (squeezed)
    Cayenne pepper
    maple syrup

just wanted to know if anybody else out there dose it?

My body has the ability to cleanse 24/7 because I feed it a micronutrient rich, adequate fat, mineral loaded protein adequate diet. For periods of temporary restriction like a "master cleanse", why not just water fast instead? It's more beneficial than living off of acidic sugar drinks. My two cents.

I don't use that cocktail, but lemon juice is supposed to be awesome. Water & Green Tea have been my staples everyday for well over a decade.

Aren't you supposed to drink salt water on this thing too and some kind of laxative tea so you **** uncontrollably? I like the idea of cleaning out the pipes, but I've heard that doing this isn't very good for you.

I do a master cleanse every 5 yrs or so preparing for a colonoscopy. Cleaning out the pipes on a regular basis to eliminate toxins doesn't make any sense to me as they'll just fill up again as soon as you start eating. I've yet to see any studies or papers that support the benefits of a cleanse.

I don't understand how starving your body of food is supposed to clean it out. I eat enough fiber that I don't have any trouble going to the bathroom every day.

I suppose the only true "cleanse" would be to get the stomach flu from both ends and eliminate everything in your digestive tract. I've never felt particularly fabulous after going through that, though.
