2x20's in morning and then what ?
Hello All,
Looking to bump up my FTP a bit and gonna start doing 2x20's around 90-100%
on Tuesday's and Thursday's early in the morning on an indoor trainer as I don't have any proper place to ride an equivalent good controlled 20mins in the afternoon.
Mon/Wed I usually lift weights in the gym and just ride the stationary bike there as a recovery ride.
I was wondering if I it would be bad to ride hard in the afternoon on Tues/Thur eg short intervals ?
I do a long(70+miles) group ride at a fairly high pace(for me) on Saturday's.
thanks,
L

It really comes down to what is right for you. I say try it out. You'll know pretty quickly if it's too much for you. It sounds manageable to me, it's similar to what I do, though I've been missing out on Saturday rides lately due to midterms/finals
Give it go, if you start feeling horribly tired, or start hurting, ease up.
