Just curious. Wondering approx how many calories a person would burn during a ride. Is there a site that shows this sort of info or does anyone know a way to figure it?

Do you burn more riding harder for a shorter distance/time....or would you burn about the same as long as you road the same amount of time?

Calories is something I've never really understood I guess.

My local LBS has a calorie calculator on their website.

Here's the link...

http://spindoctorcyclewerks.com/site/intro.cfm

Use the "Spin Doctors Cyclewerks Cycling Club" link on the left hand side. It will dislpay another link to the calorie calculator.
