Do your eyes twitch too?
I've discovered over the years a correlation of stinkin' hot weather and my eye twitching. I think it's from sweating and drinking a lot (water).
Anyone else do this as well?

Personally I associate eye twitching with some combination of fatigue and bad diet... but I could see how hot weather would contribute.
Make sure you're eating plenty of healthy foods, get lots of natural electrolytes such as orange juice or v-8.

Mine do it too in hot weather.
I have no proof, but I feel it may stem from dehydration.

Myokymia usually is from fatigue, stress, too much caffeine or too much alcohol. Physical exertion can do it too, or straining to see. As long as it goes away and is limited, nothing to worry about.

Twitching is a nervous reaction and nerves rely on electrolytes, so I would imagine it is due to sweating lots of salt out. Maybe it indicates not eating enough potassium? don't know, just musing.

My eyes don't twitch now, since the posting of the thread. It has cooled down a bit.
Lack of electrolytes - didn't think of that one. I heard somewhere (I think here, actually) that it was a result of drinking lots of water. There'd be a definite correlation between lack of electrolytes and drinking water, though. Maybe I'll eat some chips and a banana after a hard ride. Yay!
I don't drink 'nough coffee or alcohol to warrant eye twitch.
