right before bed?

I am a college student that lacks a bike due to the fact these dorm rooms have no room. I do spin classes two days a week and want to start doing core workouts right before I got to bed every night what kind of stuff should I be doing?

When I hear, "...workouts right before I got to bed...", I hear the sound of a needle tip slowly ripping across the surface of a LP record in my head. When it's time for rest you should be winding down and relaxing before bed. Exercising only stimulates brain activities as well as hyping your body up. Do this and you'll lose the proper sleep your body needs.
If anything you CAN do light stretches before bed to help you relax and unwind, your friendly search engine will help you in this department.

You can do core exercises anytime as long as it's a few hours (3+) prior to bed, best in the morning to help vigurate you throughout the day.
Again let your friendly search engine help you with 'core exercises'
here is an example ...

Side note, here is a nifty little "cycle" that works great in small places and it's not just for leg usage but can be used for upper body usage too.

Sometimes you don't have a choice but to exercise before bed (full time job and 2 kids).

The first couple of times I was wired afterwards and couldn't fall asleep. But your body adapts, and now I only need about 1 hour post workout of wind-down time and I sleep fine.

I agree with simonaway, many times I go to bed restless, I do some workouts, granted it takes some time to calm down but the sleep comes quicker and more naturally and I wake up better!

For basics, I really like doing a circuit/complex of plank variations. Basically...

60 second plank
60 second pike with one leg elevated (30 seconds per leg)
60 second side plank or T-stand (30 seconds per side)

Then take 90 seconds or so to rest, and repeat 2-3 times.

(Times can obviously be adjusted to suit your fitness.)
