They found that many sodas contain more fructose than the standard 55:45 ratio that's assumed for HFCS... more like 65:35. And they found some drinks that appear to contain HFCS even though it's not listed on the label. And "mexican" coke appears to use HFCS, not sugar like everyone thinks.
There's also plenty of citations that show why fructose is more unhealthy than sucrose, in case you're doubting it.
Last, the average American drinks 50 gallons of soda a year.
