Travel Trac = a good indoor trainer?

Just bought today the travel trac fluid + adjustable indoor trainer (my first, so nothing to compare).

I got it for under 200 bucks; I didn't know this was the "performance brand" though. I hope I did well by buying it and was wondering if anyone could comment.

I ride approx. 100 miles/week on a Road Bike. The trainer will be used a few times a week in the winter especially considering I'm ready to ski a lot.

Thanks in advance.

I like CycleOps, however, they don't have a fluid offering in the price range you paid; only a mag. Check Google for some reviews but I think you got a good deal!

Thanks! I hope so :)
Warmed up again and I've still been hitting the road, hehe.

I bought the Travel Trac+ last year and got about the same deal you did, think I paid right around 200. I have had 0 issues with it and enjoy riding it. Its kinda loud, but that is to be expected.

I had one. As far as trainers go, it was fine. I used it with Spinnervals DVDs or would just watch a flick while spinning away. I eventually got bored with it and sold it on EBay.

I have the same trainer and I have no complaints. I've had it since last January, have ridden 1,000-1,500 miles on it, and haven't had any problems with it at all.
