Knee pain, vastus lateralis
Hello everybody. every now and then I get knee pain on the same spot. Usually when I go hard, but not very hard.
the pain is where the vastus lateralis connects to the knee. just above the it-band. getting sore. Any ideas? best regards

Get some ART from a GOOD soft muscle therapist/chiropractor. That is honestly your best bet for complete recovery, however, I would suggest simple quad stretches, foam rolling the IT band and vastus lateralis, and icing the sore area after rides. Nsaids can help too but the other stuff will be more effective for actually treating the issue.

I'm no Dr Butt, I once had something had which the physio said was bursitis (of the suprapatellar bursa).
Icing and stretching eventually did the trick, but I suspect had I rested more, it obviously woulda healed quicker
