    Banana Allergy - replacement fruit?

    I add frozen raw banana slices to my blended rolled oat based shakes. I have a slight allergic reaction to raw bananas (itchy mouth and skin)... never pinnned it down before but did some reading and know this is it. I'd like to find a replacement... is there a fruit that rivals a banana's nutrients?

    Potato.

    Seriously. If you are looking for potassium and carbs, you might try something like the little red potatoes. Bake them and eat them cold.

    If you are looking for some other needs, I'm not sure.

    This works - will give it a whirl. Maybe bake a bunch and keep them in the fridge to snack on. Thanks!
